ABOUT NATIVE WORLD

Native World isn’t a website. It’s an environment.

A living, evolving digital space rooted in South London but designed to move globally where music, visuals, fashion, and story exist in one continuous experience. This isn’t about scrolling. It’s about stepping into a world.

Inspired by the textures of 80s and 90s culture grainy film, retro typography, raw documentation and fused with modern design, Native World blends nostalgia with forward-thinking energy. Every page is intentional. Every visual has weight. Every sound has context.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Music that moves between hip hop, house, R&B, and underground UK sounds

  • Visuals that feel like lost film reels, late-night city moments and shots of a documentary that tells the story of the south

  • Merch that represents identity, not just clothing

Alongside this sits the zine a digital archive of thoughts, stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and cultural snapshots. A place where the process is just as important as the outcome.

Native World exists at the intersection of:

  • Creative agency

  • Media platform

  • Artist universe

It’s built to reward curiosity.

To grow with its audience.

To feel exclusive, but never closed.

This is South London perspective documented properly.

And shared with the world.

SOUTHLONDONATIVE is not just an artist.

It’s a transformation.

A return.

A statement of intent.

Born Jamell Rene, the South London artist has been crafting a global sound from the ends—blending hip hop, house, UK garage, and soulful storytelling into something culturally rooted and forward-facing. His music reflects a life lived through extremes, from street pressure to personal transformation, turning experience into a sound.

Raised in Brixton before moving to Thornton Heath, Jamell found music early as both escape and expression. He first emerged as part of TailrMdeLvn, the duo he formed with his brother M. Their project NOIR: One Night In The Studio and London Vintage Nights gained recognition from platforms like SBTV and Hot 97, introducing Jamell as a melodic and introspective voice with international potential. That chapter laid the foundation for his artistry—honest, stylish, and culturally aware.

At the peak of this momentum, life forced a reset.

After being diagnosed with cancer, Jamell stepped away from music for many years. What followed was more than recovery it was reconstruction. The experience reshaped his perspective on life, fatherhood gave him time to grow, and purpose, stripping everything back to truth. When he returned, it wasn’t as the same artist, but as SOUTHLONDONATIVE—a voice with intention, clarity, and direction.

As his sound evolved, Jamell stepped into the global dance space, where his voice began travelling further than his name. His vocals have featured on records connected to Swedish House Mafia, Duke Dumont, The Rocketman and Parisi, earning him a reputation as a go-to vocalist across underground and commercial scenes—sometimes referred to as the Komorebi hitman.

His sound now sits at the intersection of hip hop and house with a South London soul, bridging local culture with global energy.

Beyond traditional releases, his work has extended into gaming and sync, including a feature on EA Sports FC 26 through Woodcamp’s “Eatin Good,” placing his voice in a new cultural space.

Now fully stepping into his own spotlight, SOUTHLONDONATIVE is building more than music—he’s building a world. Through him and the Native World, they are merging sounds, fashion, and storytelling into a creative ecosystem that represents South London on a global stage. His upcoming releases aim to balance raw honesty with infectious rhythm, designed for both the club and everyday life.

Perspective sharpened.

Purpose deepened.

The art became real in a different way.

SOUTHLONDONATIVE stands for:

  • Authentic storytelling

  • Cultural connection

  • Creative independence

  • Building something that lasts

This isn’t just about releasing music.

It’s about building a world.

A legacy.

A new wave coming out of South London.

And if you’re here now —

you’re early.
